I live in Newmarket and whenever I get time and the weather is nice I take myself onto the heath and get some shots of the lads exercising the horses. I have to pick the gallops I photograph because there are railings on some of them, a big white rail going through the middle of the picture is not very attractive. therefore the best time of year is in the summer when most of the trainers use the grass gallops. Any pictures I take will be in the shop section of the website where you are able to view and purchase them if you wish, they are split into training yards.
